Fun
Things To Do
While staying at Tall Timbers
Resort on
Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals
Lake's crystal clear water is excellent for all types of water activities. Fishing
is just one of the main sports with other water activities just as popular. With
nearly 45,000 acres, water skiing is great because there is so much room. Scuba
divers love the clarity of the lake, while some people just enjoy boating or using their
wave runners.
Canoeing is done
on the lake, but most canoers go either to the White River or Buffalo River, which are
nearby. Both are sure to delight those who love the mountain scenery. |

The lake temperatures are generally comfortable from
late May through mid-September. Tall Timbers has excellent facilities at the dock
for swimming or just floating leisurely on a raft. There is a large deck with a
ladder for those wanting to swim and dive, or you can walk into the water from the nearby
concrete ramp. Near the lake is a patio for those who just enjoy soaking up the sun.
There are grills and tables for each cottage as well as a large, tree shaded patio where
big or small groups can gather. For the smaller children there is a play area with
swings, a play castle, and a large sand box.
For the adults and older children, there is an area for badminton and horseshoes. |

Tall Timbers is
centrally located to most Ozark attractions and
activities. A drive of 15 minutes to 2 hours will get you to what you want to see in
the Ozarks. If you hike, bike, bird watch, or take photographs, there are endless
areas to explore. One of the nicest of these areas is the Ozark
Isle Park just a few miles from Tall Timbers Resort. |
